From the heart…

It has been an interesting journey, as we draw to the end of 2017 and the start of 2018. I wanted to take a moment to apologize to the readers/community as I was not able to continue on with the podcast, life can some times, well just get a little crazy. It’s not to say that I woun’t possibly do a podcast in the future but things in my life still need settling. When I started the blog, I wanted to share my passion for gaming and #swtor.

Some time ago, I suffered a traumatic event. It had a tremendous affect on my health, that things havn’t been the same. It’s true what they say, it’s a long road to recovery. Now I don’t want to make this long and drawn out. Members of the swtor community helped me with learning how to podcast, in which I am grateful for (Thank you.). But certain personal issues came about that needed more of my attention, most importantly my health and finances. For anyone that may have felt asthough I had let them down, I apologize. It was never my intention to disappoint anyone in the community.

I have shared my views of games, and everyone has a different way of playing them. I am hoping that come 2018 that things in my life will be a bit more stable that maybe I can revisit the podcast.

But until then, I will continue to blog about swtor and games, and still post up #StarWars stuff on my facebook page. We all know how sometimes society can be so judgemental, and some times when going through a traumatic event can give people the wrong perception. We sometimes get so wrapped up with so much that sometimes we forget that maybe we need help from friends and family, or we take on more then we can handle. But most importantly we forget how to see things from that persons point of view and not realize that they are going through something we may or may not understand. And we need to remember to be patient and supportive. But the last thing that I ever wanted to do was to disappoint and let anyone down.

I do want to say thank you to the community for your support and understanding, and again I apologize if I had disappointed and/or let you down. I wish you the best holidays as Christmas is right around the corner and not to mention for you to have a safe and Happy New Year.

Thank you.

Stay tuned to The Balance Force.

Casual End Game…

Over the past few months, I have not really had the desire to login to #swtor and thinking about as to why. And some may agree and others not so much. Now as most you know that I’m very direct and blunt in my blog posts. So I have had time to really think on some things, I spoke with friends that have left the game or waiting for their subs to run out. Lots of aspects have changed through the lifespan of the game and some more favorable to some players and other aspects still leaving much to desire. But let’s be real, yes I have tweeted out of the lack of content of the game, and it’s true. Some of you may ask/say to yourself “Yeah there is.”, but let’s break things down.

Knights of the Eternal Throne, MMO evolution or deterioration?

After a summer of silence, and months of anticipation #Bioware has given us some information on #kotet. New York Comic Con Cantina event gave us an inside look of the upcoming conclusion to #kotfe. Ideas of Bioware listening to it’s playerbase may have fallen on deaf ears, some have stated. Blur gave us a teaser trailer and a full trailer. In short, it’s a backstory on Vaylin, so obviously you have an idea of the direction of the story. Vaylin is Emperess now and it’s pretty much an ultimate battle of Good vs. Bad aka Light vs. Dark.

Bioware for awhile has wanted to go back to its roots of story story story-telling, #KnightsOfTheFallenEmpire was pretty much Bioware’s way of testing the waters and dipping their toes in a different direction of what MMO evolution they have in mind. Though KotFE came with mixed reviews, the foundation of the game was the same, now with the next step of a complete revamp of the whole system of the game.

As some of you were aware of the pic’s with some familiar #swtor community members. And had the most interesting time, meeting up with Marshall and Will from ‘The Usual Podcast‘, Jessie from Unholy Alliances, Heather of Pretty Little Sith & Corellian Run Radio, and Andreas aka Chinn’ook from my same server of Jedi Covenant, and not to mention Bam and the #WookGuild.

“Knights of the Fallen Empire” leaked info

Looks like either someone stepped in some poodoo there. And leaked some info in regards to the announcement/expansion. Now whether it was a mistake or just to ride the coat tails of hype. Hashtags of #knightsofthefallenempire , #swtor , #faceyourdestiny and #swtorfamily still has been booming with hype.

The news has been spreading like wildfire, and it has been exciting players and attracting some returning players. I will say that #Bioware is moving in the right direction. With all this hype the pressure is on Bioware to really deliver a high quality product and streamline PvP aspects along with queues.
